Using your Electronic Cigarette for the First Time 

To help you get started with your new electronic cigarette kit, here are some tips on setting it up for the first time:

Please fully Read the Users’ Manual that accompanied your new kit.  Even if you have used a different type of e cigarette, instructions for proper use can vary between devices.

Charging the batteries:

1. Ensure you have connected the battery charger into your electrical socket and the indicator light shows green.

2. Carefully screw a battery into the charger, observing that the battery tip flashes several times, to ensure it is connected to the charger. When connected the charger indicator light will show "Red" (Charging the battery).

3. When charging is complete the indicator light will turn "Green" (battery is charged and ready for use). The batteries need to charge for a full 8 hours each.

Preparing your Atomizer:

When you receive your kit for the first time, the cartridge attached to the atomizer contains no E.liquid, it is just a shell.  Please remove this cartridge and throw it away.  Attach a fresh cartridge from the cartridge box to the Atomizer, ensuring to remove all protective covers and seals to the cartridge (to stop the cartridge leaking during transit), then stand the atomizer on its’ base for several minutes to allow the Atomizer to absorb the E.Liquid.

Using the device for the "First Time":

When a battery is fully charged attach the atomizer to the battery, fitted with a fresh cartridge. Note: If your device is a super e.cig, do not over tighten the atomizer on the battery. This will restrict the airflow and shorten the cartridge life. If you loosen the battery approx 15 degrees this will make the device operate efficiently. Inhale gently from the cartridge observing the battery indicator is glowing, and ensuring the air-intake valve is not covered by your fingers, in short 2 second inhales, 3 to 4 times, to allow the atomizer to build up the vapor. Once the vapor has built up, continue to use the device like a cigarette, inhaling and exhaling the vapor.

Enjoy the feeling of freedom. Enjoy nicotine without the carbon monoxide, tar and other chemicals of regular cigarettes.

Care and maintenance of your electronic cigarettes and length of cartridge life:

This will depend slightly on what type of smoker you are – heavy or light. The manufacturers’ state that one cartridge is equivalent to 20 cigarettes, but our customers have found that one cartridge is roughly equivalent to between 7 to 15 cigarettes.

How to clean your atomizer? :

There are several tips on the forums, but the best way is to get some canned air, and blow this through the atomizer. Blow through the small hole (i.e the battery end, as this will blow out any debris), do this last thing at night, and the atomizer is then clean and ready for use the next day. Don't forget to also blow through the small side hole in the atomizer. If the E.Liquid has dried onto the atomizer and/or the battery connectors (the gold/brass area's), using a cotton swab and thinners (nail polish remover for example, used in a well ventilated area), in a circular motion, gently clean off the dried liquid. This will ensure good electronic connectivity between the battery and the atomizer.

* Before going to bed disconnect the battery from the atomizer, batteries can drain overnight as they are in standby mode when not being used.

How often to charge your battery? :

When you first receive your kit, your batteries may be partly charged, however please charge for the full 8 hours that the manual states. Once you are using your Electronic Cigarette, have one battery on charge while you are using the other, and you may find that in use, one battery will last 3 – 4 hours before needing to be recharged.

Troubleshooting:

1. Why is my Electronic Cigarette not smoking? First check that the cartridge has not dried up. Change your cartridges when the smoke begins to diminish, if you stand a weak cartridge on its end (opposite end that you draw on) for a while it will smoke well again.

2. Check that the battery is fully charged, if needed try a newly charged battery. If there is still no smoke, it may be that the atomizer needs to be replaced.

3. Try not to drop, bash or sit on your Electronic Cigarette as this will damage the component parts, protective cases are available on our website.

4. We strongly advise that you have two atomizers and rotate them daily. Use one today and a different one tomorrow, as they are the work horse of the Electronic Cigarette, and rotating them appears to prolong their life. Cleaning them regularly will also help prolong their life.
